MSI’s permanent magnetic conveying rail is designed with a powerful magnetic circuit to hold ferrous parts such as cans, lids, steel containers, and composite cans. The rail is designed to be installed as a stationary component so the ferrous part is stabilized while being transferred by the conveyor belt. The magnetic rail allows parts to be transferred even during vertical, inclined or horizontal conveying.

MSI offers additional strength rail when needed by utilizing a powerful rare earth magnetic circuit. The rare earth design utilizes a sealed stainless steel wrapper completely covering the rail to protect the rare earth magnet material from any moisture during the processing or clean up.

MSI’s Electromagnetic rail is designed for use in automated conveying, lifting or transferring blanks, sheets or even fabricated parts. The Electromagnetic rail offers a quick release capability for one or multiple drop zones. The strength can be varied by controlling the power to the magnets so you can tune in just the right strength for you application.
